Forest School
The essence of Permaculture is connecting to and working with the patterns and rhythms of nature. We’re passionate about providing time and space for young people and families to be in nature, so that they can feel that connection for themselves. We also believe that learning and applying the principles of Permaculture has the potential to improve all of our lives, and contribute to a more beautiful world.

Our Forest School and Educational activities for families and young people operate on a not-for-profit basis, with all proceeds after costs going back into developing future programs. We believe that people are entitled to a childhood in nature, and we want to help make that or happen in our local community and beyond.
We offer:
-
After-school clubs, running March – November, for ages 5-11
-
Forest School playdays and educational events throughout school holidays
-
Youth programs during school holidays for age 12+
-
Tailored mentoring programs working with local secondary-age school pupils
-
Tailored therapeutic sessions for families whose children have additional needs
-
CPD and Forest School taster days for primary schools and outdoor educators

What is Forest School?
Forest School is a child-centred inspirational learning process, that offers opportunities for holistic growth through regular sessions. It is a long-term program that supports play, exploration and supported risk taking. It develops confidence and self-esteem through learner inspired, hands-on experiences in a natural setting.
